The Oak Bay Fire Department, IAFF Local 1856 fire members and the Emergency Program are teaming up with the Canadian Red Cross to promote Emergency Preparedness in our area.
The oak bay firefighters are rapidly preparing packages to hand out to interested teachers and students, giving them information about emergency preparedness.
This campaign launched by the Emergency Program will assist teachers by instructing them on how to prepare for emergencies. The Fire Department members will be coming to those classes interested which signed up to talk about safety and emergency preparedness.
This is an interactive teaching tutorial for classes of all ages, The fire Department members will be giving the lectures to each class. Click the image below for more information.
