Vehicle Fire - January 16 2008

A vehicle fire in the 2500 block of Nottingham was reported by dispatch. Upon arrival a fully involved van was discovered.

The fully involved van was a cleaning vehicle and fire crews approached with caution due to the possibility of hazards inside the vans interior. Making this more dangerous was it's proximity to the home. The vehicle fire was knocked down from a distance and the exposure was protected from flames.
The rapid extinguishment of this van saved the structure from any serios damage. The van was a write off.
